( A Unit of Genergy Biotech Pvt.Ltd )
( An ISO 9001:2008 certifited organisation
)
Dr. Ghosh Laboratories is a state of an art world class laboratory which follow national and international standard. It is certified by ISO 9001:2008 and strictly follows a standardization SOP. We follow stringent protocols as per the BIS standards. It is an internal service unit that supports the DGL’s educational, research and capacity building activities, with a focus on education and research in water and biotech field. The laboratory support includes practical demonstrations during lectures or fieldwork as well as in-house laboratory courses in microbiology, chemistry and process technology. The facilities include modern teaching laboratories and a well equipped research laboratory to support courses and research in a wide range of tests for physico-chemical and microbiological analyses of water. DGL laboratories include a range of pilot plants and laboratory scale-experimental facilities for water treatment.
The laboratory has been established to develop new methods or modify existing methods of water analysis and to provide refresher training to personnel’s of state/central/private organizations involved in the analysis. It also provides facilities for analytical quality check among the other laboratories through sample exchange. All the routine facilities for water analysis including softener unit,, spectrophotometer, photometer, precision balance, pH meter, TDS meter and many more are available in the laboratory.
In addition to the analytical service provide to staff, students and engineers, the laboratory offers bacteriological and physico-chemical testing and analysis to the general public in water and waste water by using well equipped modern instruments.
